You can make a difference!

The need is great and our community responds. Every amount makes a tremendous difference in the lives of our neighbors.

Financial Support

On-Line Donations can be given anytime through our secure PayPal account. Donations can be designated as a one time or a recurring gift. Consider giving monthly!

Checks and Cash Donations can be dropped by the front desk at 164 Duckworth Ave, Brevard or mailed directly to Sharing House at PO Box 958 Brevard, NC 28712. Restricted donations should be documented in the memo line. Donations can be given in honor or memory of loved ones.

Employee Matching Gifts are offered through many corporations to encourage giving back to community. Be sure to check with your company for active or retired employee matching gift programs.

Gifts of Stocks and Bonds can be given through our brokerage account with Stifel-Nicolaus in Strauss Park, Brevard.

Bequests are a distribution from estates through wills and trusts. A bequest allows donors- both those of modest means and great wealth- to distribute assets to charitable organizations like Sharing House. If you would like to add Sharing House as a beneficiary of your estate, please let us know and we can help make it happen.

Questions? Shelly Webb, Kristine Tuggle, and Cara Bradshaw invite anyone with questions to simply call or stop by for more information about ways you can give in support of Sharing House.

Other Ways to Give

In-Kind Donations are items that Sharing House gives away to neighbors such as canned food, household cleaning supplies, paper goods, pots/pans, towels, sheets, blankets, camping equipment, in-season clothing, school supplies, Christmas toys, and vehicles.  Items should be in good and usable condition.

Volunteer opportunities abound at Sharing House—we could not operate without our dedicated volunteers. Complete a volunteer application today!

Vehicles are in high demand! We accept donated cars, trucks, and vans, no more than 10 years old to be repurposed for our Wheels to Work program. We will service these vehicles, obtain proper paperwork, and find neighbors who are in need of a vehicle to get to work, transport their family, and obtain essential groceries and prescription medications.
